Surprise Bridal Shower

Today I had the honor of attending a surprise bridal shower for the future daughter-in-law of our dear friends Trapper John and his wife Diane. Kanani will be marrying their son Jim. It was held at The Blue Mountain Wine and Vineyard in New Tripoli, Pa. A wine tasting event was going on as we entered. They have live entertainment on outdoor or glass enclosed deck commanding views of the mountains and vineyards. Gourmet cheeses and fresh baked breads. I plan to go back.

This guy was pretty good. I invited him into the bridal shower to serenade the future bride. He hd a wonderful voice.

Kanani had not a clue that this was happening!

Field Trip

Flo and I could not wait to get to Edward's Landscape! They are starting to come out of hibernation including the wonderful array of animals. These creatures are family. I caught a few easing into Spring. Every "house" is heated in the winter. Now that's love! In the Summer the landscapers create the most amazing water features I have ever seen. When in need of serenity, just sit, walk through the beautiful gardens, talk to the animals, and throw away those blood pressure pills.

If Looks Could Kill

I don't think this guy is too happy to see me!

A New Water Feature

This will be ready for the Spring open house. Can't wait

A Good Deed

Today I wanted to see what our good friend Flo from Flossie's Basket was up to. Here she donates her time and talent to decorate the lobby and dining room of a local nursing facility. This will put the guests into a Spring spirit. That wreath is gorgeous!

This is just one of the birdhouses that Flo donates to hang outside the window of a guest. She has to refill them a least every three days! As I was watching, these critters were fighting for a spot . It was constant eating!

A Sign Of Spring

The Bloomsburg, Pa. Antique Show and Sale was held Saturday and Sunday for your viewing pleasure. Seventy five exhibitors, thousands of antiques, fine jewelry and vintage clothing. The weather was a tropical 65 degrees and blazing sun. Such a good feeling in the air. You will never see it all in two days. There is always something I missed. Can't wait for the Fall show in November. First thing to catch my eye was this prim table. Love.

Sold!
