How Many Firemen Does It Take To..........

Ewardsville and Larksville fireman were kept very busy tonight. This "thing" that blew through the neighborhood lasted only twenty minutes and caused all this! When I call Marty my Allstate agent I will tell him to just look at the blog. If I can get through to him!

My beautiful Purple Plum tree of 25 years is gone. If it toppled towards the driveway my car would have been wearing it!

American Heritage Furniture Delivery

The Jeanette Cupboard that was a special order arrived today. This truck is like landing a plane on the little ole Main Street of Luzerne. Seventy three feet to be exact. I just close my eyes. These drivers can land on a dime and give you change!

This is our favorite delivery guy. He is so pleasant. Not even the blistering heatwave of today at 99 degrees can change him. That trailer had to be 200 degrees!

New Arrivals

Two wonderful pieces came to us today. The first is a mid 1800's bakers table. The patina of the chestnut wood is very striking. This piece can go anywhere in the home. I would like to see it behind a small sofa or love seat. The second is a coffee table in the shape of a bench. How cool is that? It's a new peace with a black prim finish. Great for a small space. Those are our Capitol Earth Rugs. Love the crow.

A Good Time Was Had By All

During this long holiday weekend I had the honor and privilege to witness the marriage of my nephew Joseph and his lovely bride Dana. The merrymaking began Thursday in Redbank,New Jersey at this wonderful eatery. Friday the wedding took place in Monmouth Beach and back to Redbank for the reception. Saturday back to Monmouth Beach to the bride's parents home for a delightful outdoor party.
