VE RI TAS

Nichols and Stone is the maker of this Harvard chair.  Another fine maker of these chairs was Hitchcock.  The shield logo which reads ve ri tas is the Harvard motto.  It means truth.  It's amazing how this chair found its way to sit under our illustrious Luzerne County courthouse.  Anyone from the Wilkes-Barre area will know what we mean.

The Windsor Chair

This beautiful piece is from Pennsylvania House circa 1960.
After putting the finishing touches on the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson would have stood next to a writing armchair like this.

New Arrivals

Some wonderful pieces came to us for the New Year.  Starting off with this stunning French style vitrine housing our fun vintage costume jewelry.  Really made to store and show off all of those wonderful collectables.

Roll Out the Hospitality

This is an amazing 1960's Italian Marquetry wine, tea, beverage cart.  Shaken. Not stirred!  We can also see this as a very unique end table next to a sofa or chair.

Colonial Charm

There is room at the Inn for this mid 1800's solid cherry gateleg table.

A Celebration of Color

A vintage Henredon wing chair.
