Hand Made Amish Heirlooms

Today in Amish country I had the pleasure of watching skilled craftsmen hand manufacture beautiful pieces of furniture. They take pride in their work and stay true to their name. These are solid wood pieces made from pine, maple, and cherry. These masterpieces will be the furniture of tomorrow and for generations following. I commissioned the company to make these pieces in the photo. The Shaker end table, the Garden Style table, the Coffee table (not shown) and a Bookcase (not shown). They should be in the shoppe around four to six weeks. They are all in a prim finish. Come in to see the catalog. I think you will enjoy.

Housewarming

When the shoppe receives a piece like this we are quite excited. The older Pennsylvania House furniture is alive and well. Since Pa.House is no longer manufactured here, these pieces are prized because of the workmanship. The warm colors of this Queen Ann sofa and its beautiful cherry legs shows no decorating boundaries. It is right at home in a formal setting, traditional colonial saltbox, and the girlie-girl loft apartment.

Feminine Wiles

As soon as this adorable vanity was placed in the window, it sold. And rightfully so. The kidney shaped mirror on top, the delightful full skirt surrounding it, and matching bench with pillow. The young miss that receives this will be tickled pink! And just in time for Valentine's Day. Enjoy.

New Arrival

The just so pretty vanity was the first to arrive in the new year. This piece is just darling! It is circa 1800 and made of solid cherry. The mirror is in fab shape. The 1940's Betty Boop leopard covered boudoir chair is such a complement. I would not hesitate to show off this little beauty in a corner of a livingroom.
