Easter Is Almost Here

To me Easter always signals the best time of the year. Spring has arrived. A new beginning. Getting backyards and flower or veggie gardens in order. Days are longer and the sun is a bit warmer. Start peeling off the layers of winter clothing and start rummaging through those closets for lighter fair. Throw open the windows and doors and perhaps paint that room you have been looking at all winter. Light and airy! Yummy yellows and sea breeze greens. Creamy white cottage furniture and plenty of roses. Can't wait.

Finally

Today was the day my friend Mary Ann and I shot down to Lancaster to pick up the furniture that was in the making for the last eight weeks. Mary Ann, my "wingman" brought along her GPS to navigate . Everyone who travels should own one of these. It took us right to the doorstep. And this picture! Land spread'n out so far and wide. Take Manhattan and give me that countryside!

The Barn

This is where the magic is made. The woodworking shop. You can smell the wood when you enter. You can see the furniture being made. Something you will not see everyday. What a treat!

End of the Trip

I could not resist taking this pic. The iron work on this dwelling is breathtaking.

Just In Time

The Spring Bella Taylor Handbags have arrived just in time for the Spring event this Saturday.
Don't forget to register to win a Country Chic handbag. Good Luck!

Prim Bench

When this brand new piece arrived I saw many possibilities. The first thing that came to mind was a sofa table! Even though the sofa is Queen Ann this piece goes. It's four feet in length and a little over two feet high. I would also like to see some of Liz Revit's prim artwork gracing the bench. Hint,Hint.

Field Trip

Spring always means a trek to Country Folk. Viewing the displays you know Spring is here. Out of all the glorious sights I kept going back to these three. Go figure! The Easter spruce tree was enchanting. So don't put that Christmas tree away this year.

SOOOOOO Cute

Party Hearty

Another Forgotten Piece

Lilly Bamber to the rescue. This 1930's depression sideboard is now something to sing about! Love the taupe colored finish. Very interesting. The storage possibilities are endless.

Local Artist 1944

Our local artists will appreciate this. While traveling through Munich, my brother and his wife came across these pictures at the Munich Museum of Modern Art. On display were pictures taken by Judith Jay Ross 1944 of Hazleton,Pa! Perhaps you have knowledge of her. Click on the last photo to enlarge the credit.

Joe What Were You Thinking?

Anyone need a Conference Center? Let us know.

Wow!

A friend of mine purchased this piece from Bethlehem Steel Corporate Office. Sotheby's went to his home, crated it up, and off she went. It's English and magnificent. Good luck Joe at auction.
