New Arrival

These funky barrel chairs from the 1930's deco era are going to make one heck of statement!  Covered in an ultra suede fabric and the pink piping is silk.  We completed the look with a matching Karastan wool oriental carpet.  The cast iron table has sold along with the vintage sleigh.

These items were purchased at Country Folk to make this holiday arrangement.

Field Trip One

Nothing puts us more  in the holiday spirit than our annual trip to Country Folk in Nescopek, Pa.  This year the girls went over the moon !  The decor was jaw dropping!  As we entered "the barn",  this fabulous display greeted us.  So enjoy the journey.

The Farmhouse

Country Folk sits on an actual working farm.  This was the family homestead back in the day.  Today it is a showcase.     Each room is decorated of the season.   You will never want to leave.

Enter. The Magic Awaits

Fit for a young queen or king.

A  tree in the bedroom.  That would be a amazing treat for a guest bedroom.  And don't forget,  everything you see can be purchased, right down to the smallest ornament.

Field Trip Two

After Thanksgiving  thoughts really turn to Christmas.  And that means a trip to Edward's Landscape for the perfect tree.  The woods!  Chop it down!  Fagetaboutit!  The trees  are starting to arrive and they are beautiful!  I already spotted the "perfect tree".  This American beauty is coming home with me!

WOW !!!!!!

Upon entering, these magnificent 40 foot hooks  and baskets greated us.

Look Up In The Sky!

It's Rudolf the you know what!  And they even have their own launching pad!

Ahhhh!

Rudolf is taking a little siesta.  He knows what's in store for him.  Actually, he is visiting from Rolling Hills Red Deer Farm, Catawissa, Pa.  There are over four  hundred red deer raised on this farm.  It is opened to visitors who are guided over two hundred acres of rolling landscape to hand-feed the deer and snap pictures.  It's a tour that is fun, hands-on and educational.

The Bird Fancier Department

This is the go to place for a unique gift for the featherd friend.  A wonderful array of bird feeders and garden decor.  I'll take the squirrel proof tube feeder!

And Debbie takes loving care of each and everyone.

A Stunning Wreath

Time To Go

Our Day comes to a close.  At that time it was snowing, temp was a frosty 32 degrees, and we loved it!  Watched the children feeding Rudolf. Enjoying all the laughter.  The decorative lights started to peek through.  And that is the time to see Edward's, at night in all of the splendor.  You won't be disappointed.

The Best of the Best

Don't forget to "hug" a Veteran on Monday, a holiday honoring all veterans of the armed forces.

Show and Sale

You know Christmas is just around the bend.  A wonderful reminder would be the Bloomsburg Antique Show.  This is the show of shows!  No matter every time we attend, it is always more exciting.  You need two days to view it all.

Bobbi finally picked out a vintage Thanksgiving post card to add to her collection.
Everyone is welcome.
See you in the Spring of 2013!
