A Very Good Idea

The other day one of our artist friends came in and she began to study our china closet. At the time it was filled with lovely china pieces that no one in the world of today knows what to do with it! Very little of the population has a lavish sit down dinner. It is a $7.95 all you can eat world. The days of beautiful crystal goblets are gone. Sterling silver flatware who wants to polish it. Can't put any of this stuff in a dishwasher or microwave. She suggested make it into a "craft" area! Just brilliant. Whether it is for the artist, crafts or sewing, it is a great piece for storing these staples.

She's Back!

Our favorite shabby chic and country urban creator is back. Lily Bamber House of Cottage Chic! She is finally out of "cold storage" and gracing the shop with her wonderful twists on recycled pieces. Love her French style display. This piece can be used as a vanity or desk.

No School Today

I had a lot of fun taking these shots of kids still knowing what to do when mother nature dumps another round of snow on us. If you could just hear the laughter. My inner child started to kick in thinking I would like to do this again. Then I thought of rehab! Click onto the pic to see the expressions on the faces. Priceless.
