Wassail! Wassail!
A very Merry Christmas to all of our friends and family. May your days be merry and bright as Bing would sing. And yes Virginia we did have a white Christmas. Always a time to reflect and look for the good. At Home Again we close a chapter and welcome a new year. Peace will always be in our thoughts.

Sandy
This past weekend the family celebrated a birthday near the Jersey Shore. A time to fondly look back coupled with the excitement of the holiday and future hopes. Unfortunately, the ravage of hurricane Sandy still haunted these communities. Monmouth Beach, Sea Bright, parts of Rumson to name a few. We drove down Ocean Ave where most was cleaned up but still a good reminder of the devastation. There are still homes and businesses without heat and lights.
Storm Surge
These million dollar homes right on the waters edge will not see their owners. They are now condemned.
The Birthday Boy
My nephew Joseph and his lovely wife had a close call at their home in Monmouth Beach. No major water damage and living on a generator for two weeks.

New Arrival
These funky barrel chairs from the 1930's deco era are going to make one heck of statement! Covered in an ultra suede fabric and the pink piping is silk. We completed the look with a matching Karastan wool oriental carpet. The cast iron table has sold along with the vintage sleigh.

Field Trip One
Nothing puts us more in the holiday spirit than our annual trip to Country Folk in Nescopek, Pa. This year the girls went over the moon ! The decor was jaw dropping! As we entered "the barn", this fabulous display greeted us. So enjoy the journey.
The Farmhouse
Country Folk sits on an actual working farm. This was the family homestead back in the day. Today it is a showcase. Each room is decorated of the season. You will never want to leave.

Field Trip Two
After Thanksgiving thoughts really turn to Christmas. And that means a trip to Edward's Landscape for the perfect tree. The woods! Chop it down! Fagetaboutit! The trees are starting to arrive and they are beautiful! I already spotted the "perfect tree". This American beauty is coming home with me!
Ahhhh!
Rudolf is taking a little siesta. He knows what's in store for him. Actually, he is visiting from Rolling Hills Red Deer Farm, Catawissa, Pa. There are over four hundred red deer raised on this farm. It is opened to visitors who are guided over two hundred acres of rolling landscape to hand-feed the deer and snap pictures. It's a tour that is fun, hands-on and educational.
The Bird Fancier Department
This is the go to place for a unique gift for the featherd friend. A wonderful array of bird feeders and garden decor. I'll take the squirrel proof tube feeder!
